A doodle a day keeps the boredom away. I thought I was done with the picture but sleeping on it and then looking at it again this morning, I’ve decided that I want to fiddle with it some more. But it is a work in progress and I’m relatively okay with how it looks for now....I’m still going to tweak some stuff though. I received my Surface Pro with the digital pen. Needless to say I have been engulfed and consumed with art again. It’s nice. Now to get back to where I used to be as far as skill, well time will tell. Although my medium of choice was graphite. Digital is completely new but I like it. Anyway, time to get ready for work, I am opening :-D.

A doodle a day keeps the boredom away~ I actually drew this years ago and did it in watercolor. I wasn’t happy with how it turned out. Beautiful thing about digital is I can upload my sketches and rework them and here we have something that I like much more than the original paper and watercolor version. It’s a little sloppy on the lines but I’m using a mouse on my PC so AND I haven’t drawn, sketched or painted in literal decades so I’m rusty. Really rusty. We are talking “Get the oil can” rusty. I am enjoying it again so I will get learn all over again but this time digitally :-D.
