Late last year, I had a burst of creative energy and got back into making electronic music. Over a few weeks, I wrote a bunch of songs that felt fresh and exciting—definitely more energetic than my earlier stuff. Out of that creative streak came five favorites, which I’ve pulled together into this EP: Recomplicate.
The EP is out now on BandCamp and all major streaming platforms. On BandCamp, downloads are pay-what-you-want, so you can grab it for whatever price feels right.
Here’s a visualizer of the first song, “Jay’s Walk”. Enjoy!
All the tracks on Recomplicate were recorded live, straight through a mixer to a stereo recorder. Every tweak—adjusting parameters, muting parts—was done in real time. After that, I picked my best takes, added a little DAW polish, and stitched it all together into this collection.
This EP has more energy compared to Rat Cellar Tape, and I’m really proud of how it turned out. Recording these tracks was a blast, and I hope they’re just as fun for you to listen to.
If you’re into these songs, it’d be great if you shared them with friends who might like them too. That kind of support really helps get the music out there.
Thanks for listening—I’d love to hear what you think!
