Half the stuff this particular individual posts is about GoT/HoTD/ASOIAF. If you are done, then stop wasting your own time and be done with it. The one thing a person loses that they can't get back is time. If you're gonna waste it on something you don't enjoy then I'm sorry but yes, you are wasting your time.

Why? Why do YOU have to if you don't enjoy any aspect of the show? You have literally sat there whining, crying, and bitching about literally EVERYTHING involving this particular universe, in between posts about another particular book/musical.

You don't need to educate fucking anybody in regards to this show. Let people form their own opinions. If you're sick and tired of the bs, walk away and don't look back. Because honestly this is getting ridiculous.

And really this goes for anyone who does this shit. If you don't enjoy something, or you're just gonna whine and cry and be a little jerk to everyone who enjoys this stuff, walk away. Enjoy the stuff you yourself want to enjoy. Stop making yourself miserable for some pretentious intelligence points or some other nonsense you wanna use to justify it. And this literally goes for any fandom: from Star Wars to fucking Avatar or whatever great animated show is IN right now.

And again I kinda get that I'm being a hypocrite here because I kinda do the same thing for my "Who in What Fandom Needs to Be Slapped" thing, but at least I try to be somewhat funny with that. Kinda like what foamy the squirrel used to be before he got annoying and repetitive.

As for me, I'm gonna watch season 2 of HoTD because I like the dragon designs. That's literally it. A few of the human characters are interesting to me but not a lot of them are. I'm really hoping they show Tessarion this season but I doubt they will...

Racist soap

So, if you take a look at the above pictures, you will see a packet of soap which is currently sold in the Solomon Islands....

First of all, yes, it really says “Whiter skin in 7 days” as a feature

Yes, it really lists that as its main feature

Yes, it really goes on to brag about it further on the back of the packet by saying that you will get 'fairer skin'

Yes, it is really sold today in the Solomon Islands (a predominantly black country)

I don't think I really need to go into the many ways in which this deeply offends me, but I'm going to anyway. Yes, that’s right, buckle up, because its rant time again...

WARNING: ANGRY, POSSIBY ILLEGIBLE RANT BEGINS NOW:

OK, WTF, Palmolive? Seriously, what the hell do you think you are doing? Is it actually your aim to become the antichrist? How can you possibly justify this? Seriously, what in your sick, depraved, minds, what part of your undernourished fetid souls could possibly think this is acceptable?

In short, WTF????!!!!!???!?!?!?!?

Where to start.... OK, first of all, WTF? (Of course, I have made that point)

Look, I'm sure your marketing guys probably have some spiel worked out like:

“Well, just like some people like to tan their skin, others like to whiten it. We are simply providing the option to those who want it.”

OK, on the surface, that appears to make sense. However, dig a little deeper, and you will see that the whole argument falls down around you. Lets forget, for a moment, (Mainly because this is a fictitious quote) that tanning is actually incredibly harmful, and you should not really be condoning or encouraging it anyway. Lets move straight to the core of that kind of argument:

People want to change their skin colour, and should be able to...

Why, pray tell, would people want to change their skin colour in the first place? I cant think of many good ones.... They feel like a white man trapped in a black mans body perhaps? They are visiting Antarctica, and want to camouflage into the snow better? I don't know, there are probably genuinely good reasons out there, I just cant think of them at the moment.

What there definitely are, is a whole swamp of really really bad reasons. Like, they feel that they will be more successful with lighter skin. They think that their desired mate will like them better with whiter skin. They feel like people will generally respect them more. They feel like it will make them more beautiful....

Preying on the kinds of deep rooted insecurities brought on but centuries of racist culture is one of the cruelest things I've seen. Its not like its even just this soap. Other products show photos of clearly Asian people doctored to look more European. You are validating those racist insecurities by making these sorts of products and marketing them to black people. It may seem valiant to encourage them in taking control of their bodies (and indeed, it would be if this was truly your aim). However, that is plainly not what you are doing, you are saying to them:

“Hey, you notice how those white people seem to be generally better off? Well, not only is that true, but you can be a part of that.”

Seriously, if you cant see the damage you are doing with this kind of product, then I'm sorry, but you need to fuck off... To another planet... Or the bottom of a shit pit, I don’t care, but you need to stop... Today.... There's just no good excuse for this kind of behavior, and no place for you in this world for those who show that behavior.
