★Salman Khan SHELVES No Entry 2; upset with legal and financial complications?!
October 17, 2022
Salman Khan is one of the rare superstars who always thinks from his heart and takes a personal interest in things that matter to him. One such pet project for Salman was No Entry 2 as the actor was very much interested to start the film from the month of January 2023. However, after multiple attempts from his end to revive the project, he has finally decided to shelve it for good.
Salman had his heart set on No Entry 2 and wanted to make it. He had himself sat on the script with Anees Bazmee and felt, it was amongst the funniest scripts he read in the last decade. The first part was stuck in multiple legal tangles due to Sahara One Motion Pictures shutting its shop. Salman initially thought it would be easy for him to resolve the conflict, but when he dug deep into the matter, the maze was a lot more complicated,
revealed an insider to Bollywood Hungama.
Over and above the legal issues, the budget of the film was skyrocketing. "The idea was to pay off everyone and acquire the rights. But when a list of stakeholders to be paid off was made, the amount extended beyond the stipulated budget. Ones around Salman felt that there was a strong possibility of third-party raising issues against the film once it goes on floors as the rights are very opaque and they may have to spend additional money if that happens," the insider shared.
Finally, Salman was upset with all the happenings and with a heavy heart decided to let go of No Entry 2. "He is dying to do a comedy film, but circumstances are such that nothing is materializing. Anees Bazmee has also moved on to making his superhero comedy. Salman is now on the lookout to find a new script to start work on from the month of January/February," the insider further shared.

★ My next is No Entry Mein Entry; Salman Khan has loved the script’: Anees Bazmee confirms No Entry 2!
May 20, 2022
17 years after No Entry, Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan are reuniting in the film’s sequel titled No Entry Mein Entry. As reported by Pinkvilla before, the film will be directed by Anees Bazmee with Salman Khan Films, Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios as the producers. In an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, Anees Bazmee has confirmed that his next after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is going to be No Entry 2.
“My next film is No Entry Mein Entry. I met Salman Bhai recently and he has asked me to start work on that film. We had met for a narration and he really liked the script. It’s work in progress on No Entry Mein Entry. After writing over 50 films, my aim is to do good work and make good films going forward. No Entry Mein Entry is going to be a great entertainer,” Anees promises
The first part released in 2005 and proved to be the highest grossing film of the year. It also emerged as the highest grossing comic film upon it’s release. The film has become a household name over the years due to repeated telecast on television. Does that add onto the pressure? “Salman Bhai loves the script, Boney Ji loves the script and if you ask me, it’s a beautiful script. We had this basic idea long back but could not crack it into a screenplay. That’s one of the reasons why it took us so long to make part two. But now, it’s happening. It’s a double role comedy,” Anees answers.
While Anees is gearing up for the release of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 with Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu, Salman is presently shooting for his yet untitled action entertainer with Farhad Samji as the director. If all goes as planned, the shoot for his home production would be wrapped up by September, following which he moves on to a new film, which in all probabilities would be No Entry Mein Entry.
★Salman Khan confirms starting 'No Entry Mein Entry' in January 2023!
Jul 27, 2022
When Salman Khan praised Anees Bazmee yesterday at Hotel Taj Land's End at the 'Vikrant Rona' event for delivering films that garnered 100 crore at the box-office and said that he would do the same in 'No Entry' ( he obviously meant 'No Entry Mein Entry', which is the second part of the franchise), it was a big compliment for Anees. But little did you know how Anees had landed up there. The story goes that Salman had invited Anees to come to the function. Reason? Salman had decided that he would discuss the dates that he would like to allocate for 'No Entry Mein Entry.
Anees and Salman met up after the event and Salman told Anees that he would prefer to start 'No Entry Mein Entry' in January 2023. Post that, we hear, Anees has been working on the modalities of rolling out the film; he has about five-and-half months at hand. So now it is clear that Bazmee's next is 'No Entry Mein Entry'. The 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' (the 170 cr collector that he recently made with Kartik Aaryan in the lead, and think of it, that film has quite rocketed Kartik's career) Bazmee has been fully ready with the script and was just waiting for Salman's confirmation. It is known that Salman Khan was upset with 'No Entry Mein Entry' producer Boney Kapoor because of his son Arjun Kapoor's closeness with Malaika Arora- but anyway now all that is a thing of the past as Salman, at a recent awards function, publicly acknowledged Boney's contribution in his career by saying that it was Boney's 'Tere Naam' that salvaged his career. The two shook hands and Boney was visibly overwhelmed.
When contacted, Bazmee confirmed that Salman told him that January would be the ideal time to begin shooting on 'No Entry Mein Entry'. As for the locales, he said that he will be shooting it largely in Mumbai and some foreign countries too. Asking about the ten heroines that are going to be cast in the film, he said, "I think most of them would be finalised in the next 15 days."
Talking about Salman's compliment to him, Bazmee said, "I think it is Salman's greatness to say such things. It is his love for me. I too love and respect him." So there you go, the stage is only now FINALLY set for 'No Entry Mein Entry'. And, remember you read it here sabse pehle

★Salman Khan's No Entry Mein Entry to have 10 heroines !
Jun 17, 2022 Some gimmicks in movies hardly make any sense and at times they end up looking unflattering rather than impressive. But that's not the case with Salman Khan's upcoming sequel to No Entry. Titled, No Entry Mein Entry, this ensemble comedy will have not one, two, three or six, but 10 leading ladies. Now that's what you call girl power.
An industry source revealed to ETimes that all three leading men from the original 2005 film - Salman, Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan - will be seen in triple roles and there will be a need for several actresses to be paired opposite their respective characters in the film. So if did the math right, it's going to be three leading ladies for each leading actor, by virtue of their triple avatars.
The same source also gave us some less exciting news. There's a chance that the original film's female cast, comprising Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta, Esha Deol and Celina Jaitly may not be a part of the sequel. The team at Salman Khan Films is trying hard to reassemble the same team of leading ladies, but things are looking difficult for now.
No Entry Mein Entry is slated to go on floor in the last quarter of the year. So we still have time to wait, hope and pray that we get to see Lara, Bipasha, Esha and Celina return to the franchise. We're also excited to see which other actresses fill up the rest of the positions on this cast. We're sure casting 10 heroines in an ensemble comedy must be no joke.
★ People are looking forward to No Entry 2. It will be fantastic and I am looking forward to get back to the franchise. Anees (Bazmee) and Salman will decide on the timeline of shoot soon.-Anil Kapoor

★ No Daisy Shah in No Entry 2; Salman Khan & Anees Bazmee yet to decide on the cast!
Jan 08, 2022
Recently, there were reports about Daisy Shah coming on board as one of the female leads in the Anees Bazmee directed No Entry 2. However, our sources inform that the development is not true and the makers will kick off their casting process this month.
“The three principal characters of No Entry 2 are locked – Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan, however, rest of the cast will be decided in the due course of time,” a source informed.
The source further added that No Entry 2 will feature 10 actresses, which will be a mix of ones from different generations. “The comedy of error features the trio of Salman, Anil and Fardeen in a triple role, and each character of the respective will have an actress paired alongside. And the confusion elevates to another level when the 10th girl comes into picture. This role will be on the lines of Bipasha Basu from the original and makers are on the lookout to get an A-List actress on board for this part,” the source shared.
While getting the top 10 actresses on board will be a task, the female cast of No Entry will be a blend of newcomers, ones from the 2000s and top bracket stars. “It’s a film centered around the nine musketeers, and the entire comedy stems from mistaken identity. It’s No Entry to the power of three.” When asked about the shooting schedule, the source informed, “One can’t have an exact schedule in place at this point of time, but the movie is tentatively slated to go on floors after Salman Khan completes shooting for Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. Being a triple role comedy, Salman has promised to allot bulk dates to the team of No Entry and he is supremely excited to be back to the comic space after Ready.”
For those unaware, Salman is currently shooting for Tiger 3, and it’s only on completing that he will move on to shoot his extended appearance in Chiranjeevi’s Godfather. Around Mid-March, Salman is expected to commence his work on Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali before finally proceeding to No Entry 2. He also has the Ravindra Kaushik Biopic, Black Tiger directed by Rajkumar Gupta, under his kitty alongside Dabangg 4, which is currently being written by Tigmanshu Dhulia.
A big budget jungle adventure is also in the scripting stage, which is touted as the most ambitious film under his banner, Salman Khan Films, and once the script is locked, it’s this film which will get the priority over the rest. Stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more updates on Salman Khan.
