“Hey we need to talk!” Hendery grasps your arm and starts speed walking to towards the lockers. You started wincing in pain by how hard he’s dragging you.

“Uhhh oww! What the hell is your deal? I have to get to P.E.” You yanked his hand off your sleeve readjusting your glasses.

Hendery crosses his arms while laughing to keep himself calm. “What do you mean what’s my deal. You’ve been avoiding me all day when I’m trying to talk to you. You were the one who actually broke my rings last night weren’t you?”

“Look I have no clue what your talking about that was obviously not me.” You tried to walk away one last time to avoid Hendery, but he beats you to it by grabbing your shoulders and pushing you against the lockers.

“Nice try, but I’ve heard from one of my boys that they saw it was you. Look I’m not mad at you, all I want is to work this out.” He smiles looking down at you while helping you fix your glasses.

“Okay it was me alright. Look I didn’t know what else to do at that time and plus I don’t have champion ring money to help replace those.”

Hendery nods listening to your response while caressing his chin. “I know you don’t that’s why I’m going to propose this game plan for you. Your a gamer and one of the smartest people in our class right? What was the nickname they’d call you Te-“

You cut him off by saying it annoyed by the nickname. “Techy Tia. I can’t believe the teachers actually thought Tia was my name when it’s actually y/n.” The both of you shake your heads laughing at the story. “Anyways what’s your so called game plan?”

“Well I kinda figured since you have the best grades in class and mines aren’t exactly looking to good right now. Would you be interested in tutoring me? It will help pay off the ring incident and I’ll do anything in return.”

He flutter his eyes while pouting like a puppy dog waiting for your answer. You can’t believe the freshman quarterback Hendery is acting this helpless in front of you like this.

Now after witnessing his sense of humor, charm and athletic abilities it person you have a better understanding why Hendery is friends with almost everyone in school. And then it finally hit you..

“Well how about this. I help you get better with your studies and you become my boyfriend for 2 months..”

You both paused and looked at each other realizing what you just said. The sound of the bells scares you and you rush by grabbing your book back and ran downstairs saying “Actually let’s discuss this more after school okay I’ve really gotta go..”

Hendery looks at you smiling looking even more intrested in what’s going to happen next. He whispers to himself by saying

“Boyfriend huh? That techy girl is quite the character. Hopefully I don’t end up falling for her...”

“Did you really eat coriander just to spite me?” The vibrations of his giggles made me melt into his chest. I looked up to see him rolling his eyes as he tried to stop the giggles coming out of his mouth while wiping his mouth with the sleeve of his beige sweater.

“I do everything to spite you, remember.” I teased, laughing at his reaction. “You’re so annoying.” He commented as his fingers drew patterns on my shoulder.

“That’s the whole point, idiot.” I said, sitting up and turning to face him. “Now back to what you were saying.”

“What’s the point? You’re not gonna remember what I said and I’m not gonna remember telling you.” He sighed, fixing his gaze on my hand in his, the expression on his face saddening me more than anything.

“But still, I’m curious now.” I said, emphasising the now, giving him a warm smile.

You see, soulmates can visit each other in their dreams, they can talk, cuddle, anything they want, but the catch is when you wake up, you have no memory of anything that happened in those dreams, but once you went back to sleep and met in your dream, you would remember everything again. The only way you could remember the dreams when you woke up is if your soulmate touched you. Everyone has a mark on them, marking where their soulmates will touch them for the first time. The mark was either a shade lighter or darker than your own and once you touched, the mark would fade and you were left with only the outline of the mark, which looked like a tattoo.

I always hated the fact that you had to touch your soulmate in order to know who it is, mainly because it meant you could technically meet your soulmate and you would have no idea if you never had any physical contact.
