okay but, what amuses me besides the fact that the surface of this whole episode was so cute, was how similar all the ellick moments were. and i’m not talking about being similar to each other because WOW can we agree this took their relationship a step forward? and say what you want but i ship them so fucking hard. anyway, i would have killed to see tiva in that double date situation and we kInDa dId. as much as people hate to admit it, ellick and tiva aren’t the same ship and people always compare, which isn’t cute if it isn’t in a parallel way but tonight was so familiar and i got to thinking and i’ve come to the conclusion that the scene could have EASILY been tiva, and some of the other stuff with the whole “i don’t care who you date” fiasco. the lines and the way they were portrayed, nick teasing ellie and her not taking his shit but both of them radiating major couple energy that even mcgee is on the verge of writing an ellick soon off of deep six and jimmy is practically pushing nick towards ellie by using TIVA as an example NOT to break rule 12 MY GOD. the “sister” thing and them doing an eye thing, a LOOK THING, DOES THAT NOT SOUND FAMILIAR. it was all so nostalgic, down to the camera work and all so beautifully painful, because THIS SHIT AGAIN. gah so many emotions. i hate this show.
