Nix crypta (or nc!) is an Alternative Universe that connects many MCYT projects in one fantasy(?) world.

This blog serves many purposes, for example: preserving info on the AU, separating it from mod's other content, translating it or summarizing if necessary (it is), and also answering questions! This blog is supposed to be updated daily, but it probably won't be (I'll try my best tho).

Sure! As long as you understand that I won't always be able to deliver an answer, you can ask anyone about anything.

Because this AU is old and evergrowing, I constantly tweak things around and try to make everything work. Some of the works are just generally old, what can I say. One of the goals with this sideblog is to finally start to cement everything in place and come up with things I didn't think about yet.

Yyyyyyyes. But like, no. But like, in my head everything is happening in the same order as me getting into projects. But like, it's very underdeveloped. . . Okay just bully me about it at some other time and I'll try to do something about it okay??

How did this au start and what series did it start with?
It started with sigh Mineshield. Although an answer to a start of the au as a whole is. . . A bit more complicated.
I like to include in nix crypta what I wrote before the name of the idea was even born, which is Tell The Truth series focused solely on Alfedov and the fact that he is a snow golem. It pretty much was born organically while I was watching him for the first time (because I was baited on cool lore and didn't find it, and decided "fine I'll do it myself"). First thing I wrote was Snow statue but first thing a posted was Word play, which. Was a random text to my friend that I decided to throw at ficbook and it accidentally became one of the most popular works in the fandom-
About a year later I finally understood that whatever I'm doing with characters is not how others see it so I always had to specify it, and I grew annoyed by it, and asked my friends to give me a random pair of words to call my au. My dear friend submitted "snow grave" (uh-huh yes I know) and I translated it to Latin. First work published with this name in mind was Skin, apparently.
So, a short answer would be "I headcanoned too close to the sun".

So, this post is basically just about what we are doing next /checks the notes/ 29 days, apparently.
What I want to do is create a post for each work in NC with a summary. Why do I need it? For future references, connections and translation, because moooooost of the works in the series are in Russian. Sometimes we are going to talk about something else, of course. There is enough content for at least a few months, I just need to remember to post it.
Let it be said that itβs my first time ever of doing this kind of thing (daily? Ask blog? Hell, itβs pretty much my first side blog thatβs NOT reblogs only) so I have no idea where Iβm going with this tbh. But I want to say thank you to everyone who was interested in this thing. You actually donβt know how much that means to me.
