Rabbits can detect sounds at twice the frequencies we can and are more sensitive to quiet noises, which makes their ability to ignore us remarkable.

My own garden-grown hydrangeas provided the inspiration and re-imagining for this optical illusion. This purple-blue variety is my favorite
Happy 2023!!!
As a former 'Florida' girl, transplanted back to my origins of the New England Coast, (albeit 'Southern' Rhode Island), I try to stay in summer for as long as possible. With that in mind and in keeping with my favorite north-coast flower theme, “Hydrangillusion” is part of a collection of 'trippy' macro-photographc images derived from my summer garden.

Nature & Tech
Technology
Fusing electronic and nature: Ever thought of taking a picture of your favorite landscape and making it into digital media? That is exactly what Rick Silva did when he decided to put away a paint brush and turn to software’s to make art, contributing to an interesting trend in art and technology. So basically he takes landscape of nature and recreates it with a computer (Gonsales, 2012). What makes this interesting is that he does this outside and the place, time, and weather all have an effect on the final piece. Silva describes technology as nature.
For example, Schwartzberg develop what is known as Moving Art where that focuses on visual healing through nature and technology. It is a way of using technology to capture nature in hopes to heal people in need at hospitals, spas, work places, and even schools to help people cultivate love out our nature.
The Future
Well now you too can take a picture of your favorite landscape and use software that you desire and explore. There is no limit to what you can do from nature to digital art. It has become and will continue to grow in the future. Especially with it comes to virtual reality and it need to realistic graphics that will soon be perfected.
Personal Thoughts
I can see myself being involve the in middle of nature and technology. Have you ever heard a saying that goes “things are better with a bit touch of nature?” Well I love nature not only because it fills me with joy but because it is important to us as you human. As our future of technology is growing and expanding so wide it is essential that we incorporate a bit of nature into it. With that said, it will bring a different aspect in the way that us, designer, will design for the future.

NSF is funding Harvard and two other institutes for this robobee project. The website details the goals of this project. These robobees would be able to automatically pollinate agricultural fields is the natural wild and/or domesticated honeybee populations decline. Very interesting, humans trying to make machines work like biological processes, let's see where this goes!
