I've really been enjoying the NatureMe app. I normally hate fucking apps I'm sick of them but it's been really nice in getting back to nature. And like, why I even like being alive.
It's a meditation app of sorts but honestly that doesn't even really cover it. It's guided short lessons on how to take small breaks to be curious and explore the natural world we live in, rural or urban. The people narrating them talk normally and I love the effort they put into it.
It's free! I'm giving it an honest sincere open attempt and it's like coming home. I miss being in the wilderness and having a job that lets me drive out into the forest and live there and work there. I don't have the time in a day to do that for myself but this is helping me find and prioritize it.
It has an emphasis on yourself, community and consideration towards others and a respect for nature and how to be a good animal in your environment. It also is self aware enough to talk about how to do this safely. Idk I've really been enjoying it and it's a good thing to have especially right now. Nature has always helped me make sense of things when everything is in chaos.
