the boogeyman

Scott laid in the cell, hands cuffed, sleeves were still caked in Sinister's dried blood. To say he didn't remember doing it, that it 'happened so fast it was all a blur', would be a lie. He recalls the moment perfectly. Â Seeing the man, the snap decision, his only regret was not having his visor , hands instead tightening around the pen he held and driving that pen in Essex's eye. After that came the blur, hands pulling at him, crippling (familiar) pain deep in his mind then darkness. Lying between sleep and conciousness, he could have almost convinced himself it was a dream. Not a bad one at that. Until he woke up to dull steel bars, cuffs, the sound of a door sliding open.
