So don’t get me wrong I like Natasha x Bruce but tbh I really disliked it in Avenger AOU. There was little to no chemistry between them, it felt as if Natasha was begging Bruce to be with her, and the whole ‘I’m infertile and thus I am a monster!’ yeah,...no.
But Ragnarok really made me ship it, and all because of that short scene in the quinjet on Sakaar. It suddenly seemed like Hulk returned her affections, like he thought it a priority to make it back to her, like seeing her was all it took to bring Bruce back, even after Thor had tried so many times to bring Bruce out himself. Of course their relationship was ruined again, first in IW, which gave them hardly any screen time together, and secondly in Endgame...must I elaborate.

Like many I too have been pissed at Natasha portraying herself as a monster cause she can't have kids.
Okay but consider this, SHIELD was trying to find a way to better control Hulk, and they know he recognizes and responses towards people Banner is friends with. What if, Natasha was just trying to gain Bruce's sympathy by shedding a similar light on herself. Make Banner fall for you and you can calm the Hulk down when needed?
I'm not saying she's incapable of love. Perhaps she did fall for him at some point. But in that moment in aou, she was just doing her spy thingy 😒

So Bruce Banner lost:
his best science buddy, the guy who housed him while he was coming to closer terms w/ the hulk
his semi girlfriend, or at least the girl he loved and trusted enough to know he had to walk away from her
And the guy who helped him through the roughest, and darkest patch of his life, the guy who helped him a lot more with his relationship and the hulk, the guy who saved him from himself. Thor straight up leaves at the end of the film, leaving Bruce all by himself.
I know everything sucks, but Bruce really didnt get a happy ending. Steve lived out his days, and Clint has his family and retirement now, but Bruce??He's all by himself on earth, w/ no familiar friends. Yes, he's a canonically a celebrity, but what a lonely life it must be to be famous and have no close friends to trust.
