i sometimes feel like i’m the only one who gets a little weirded out by the ppl who say any of the main tbhk cast is “hot” or smth. i mean characters like hanako, tsukasa, nene, aoi, kou, mitsuba, (etc) idk it’s never sat right with me knowing that they’re basically just children
i mean saying that you like qualities of a character is totally fine. like for example, i find kou’s determination to keep everyone safe and happy is very charming. though i’d never say anything vulgar about him or have any romantic feelings, and that goes for the rest of the cast as well.
but idk, it’s always kinda given me the ick.
and a lot of the time it’s people who are either younger to ever so slightly older than the cast. which even then i never found myself thinking of any of the characters vulgarly.
in the end i see each character as human. but i do find myself being overly empathetic with characters in media i really like. though honestly if you align any of those comments and thoughts with those characters, id imagine that those characters themselves would feel kinda creeped out too
i have a lot of respect for every character in tbhk, maybe because i hold the manga/show very close to my heart. so i guess that could be why i get such an icky feeling when ppl say stuff like “ohhhhh hanako so hot blah blah blah” or “i wanna marry tsukasa blah blah blah” , but also because they’re just children and they do act quite childish a lot of the time too. same thing goes for the rest of the cast.
but idk, i hope there are others that agree with me
