SELENE (Selenological and Engineering Explorer), better known in Japan by its nickname Kaguya, was the second Japanese lunar orbiter spacecraft following the Hiten probe.
Produced by the Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (ISAS) and the National Space Development Agency (NASDA), the spacecraft was launched on 14 September 2007.
After successfully orbiting the Moon for a year and eight months, the main orbiter was instructed to impact on the lunar surface near the crater Gill on 10 June 2009.
nasda tracking and trailing practice stuff.
im happiest with his behavior in between runs. i knew he would find the rat no problem but i was worried about the environment tripping him up. all these barking dogs that he didn’t get to say hi to??? no way. but he did great after i got him under threshold. he definitely got tired faster and slower at runs because of it but it’s ok. im super proud of him. gives me hope for trialing in the future. he’s a great dog.
Puppy’s first dog sport trial went exceedingly well! And Kiko cleaned up on finding rats.

Greatly enjoying this NASDA thing. This is Fly's UL-1 title!
ごじら です! たすけて! IT'S GODZILLA! HELP!
For InkTober daily prompt: 16. Rocket I have a feeling there are a bunch of scifi/tech prompts this year, all of which shoo me out of the comfort zone like a broom does a cat. For the rocket however it was crystal clear to me Godzilla needs to be there. He's gobbling up the J-1's fuel, an experimental NASDA rocket that never went into production. For some reason they always try to get rid of Godzilla with nuclear strikes, which is like feeding him sugar - I'm sure the J-1 was a civilian project, but, if a humongous monster starts trampling the city, whatchagonnado.
30×20cm ink and ink pens on paper. I used my oldest rectangular sponge for the trampled remains of the city, which worked surprisingly well.

July 8 to 23 1994, Space Shuttle Commander Robert Cabana pictured during physical exercise onboard orbiter Columbia mission STS-65. STS-65 also carried the first Japanese woman in space, Chiaki Mukai, and the flight was Cabana’s third spaceflight. As far as MoonwatchUniverse’s findings go, STS-65 was one of the final missions during which the Omega Alaska III Speedmaster chronographs were worn. Cabana wore two, one on each wrist. From 1996 onwards, no Alaska III Speedmasters were worn... (Photo: NASA)
