HOMESTUCK AT NÄRCON 2014

So, here comes the post with information about various Homestuck-events at this year's Närcon! All these events are in Närcon's official schedule but here they are in english in a post for your convenience! Feel free to reblog to spread the information.

Late Night with Homestuck Mafia 21:00 - 0?:?? 23/07 Wednesday We meet outside the entrance of the C-building and move to a suitable spot.

Provided there is interest I will host a game of Homestuck mafia on the evening before the con starts. We need to be at least 10 people to hold a game, but you do not need to have any experience with Homestuck, nor with mafia as a game to participate so feel free to bring your friends along.

Homestuck mafia is a homestuck inspired variant of the classic convention game known as Mafia (sometimes werewolf) and based around rethoric, psychology and social interaction. A game can take everything from twenty minutes to two hours.

It is suggested you bring a blanket and something to sit on as the evening might get chilly and we probably will not be able to sit indoors.

Homestuck mafia is a homestuck inspired variant of the classic convention game known as Mafia (sometimes werewolf) and based around rethoric, psychology and social interaction. A game can take everything from twenty minutes to two hours. We will need a minimum of ten participants to get the game going, so feel free to invite anyone and everyone. Prior knowledge about Homestuck and/or the rules is NOT MANDATORY.

It could be a good idea to bring a blanket and something to sit on as the evening might get chilly and we likely will sit either on the floor or the ground.

Homestuck Meetup and Photoshoot 13:00 - ~14:30 26/07 Saturday We will meet outside the entrance of the C-building 12:50 and then walk to the meetup spot which is a grove with a old stone bridge and a pon on the left hand side of Corson (facing the sleeping halls).

The meetup will mainly consist of a photoshoot, with groups according to the linked list (feel free to suggest more groups). After that we will, if possible, play a few games. This is also a great time to get aquinted with fellow cosplayers and homestucks, perhaps for later, private photoshoots or just for hanging out.

If you are a photographer, regardless of your interest in Homestuck, you are very welcome to come and take pictures of the cosplayers!

And a few things I would like to ask from all Homestuck cosplayers:

Please seal your makeup properly, no one wants to have grey spots on the cosplay they've worked hard on. There are plenty of tutorials out there for this.

Please refrain from honking a lot. This is the number one complaint we get at cons. It gets annoying very fast, if you don't want to worry just remove the bit which makes the noise from the honk.

Hello fellow cosplayers, national or international.

NärCon 2014 is approaching with merely two months left and it made me wonder what wonderful new people one might meet there. So I figured I would ask all of you who you might be cosplaying as at NärCon.

I'll be cosplaying as three characters this year: Nico Yazawa (Love Live!) Tokaku Azuma (Riddle Story of Devil) Yukino Yukinoshita (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU)
