Talk to me about temari. What do you think she has in store for her future post ninja war?
I honestly have no idea about anything post ninja war because I honestly don't know if there will even be ninjas??? I think about this SO OFTEN... I want her to strangle her brothers in the worlds most terrifying bone-crushing hug when the wars over. I would like to ideally think that she'd continue to be a Konoha/Sand envoy because I love thinking about Temari, the most bull-headed sand sibling to be the one awkwardly becoming friends with the Konoha 11. One time I read a fic where... she became kazekage and I'm kinda like... I like the idea a lot... I think Gaara's a great kazekage and I want him and Naruto to be kage together but honestly I also want him to rest too. I don't know!! I want her to keep dragging Shikamaru back with her on more visits bc I like the idea of him suffering in suna but whining the entire time he would have to leave. I want them to be old people married without even getting officially married. I want her to be one of the lead proctors on a test and have a scary speech like Ibiki. Oh I just remembered one of the cutest of C's headcanons. I want Temari to be Naruto's insufferable inlaw but also one time they combine wind jutsus and make like the biggest slicing wind rasengan ever and Naruto won't stop telling people how cool it was for days. Then I just think about her being at like...Ino and Sakura's wedding. every time theres a big event like that for the konoha kids and she's invited she never got over like man, can u believe it turned out like this. Can't believe I became friends with these Leaf Nerds. Â
Hey my roommate and I were having an argument and we were wondering if you could weigh in cause you're the expert. I say that Gaara sleeps sometimes and she says he never sleeps. Does he ever sleep or what? Thank you <3
I think while he was Shukaku's vessel he slept very rarely if at all but the massive chakra was able to sustain his body without sleep. With what little back story we get of his and Shukaku's relationship, I'm going to assume Shukaku would try to possess him any time he would fall unconscious. Post Shukaku being extracted though, he doesn't have that massive chakra reserve that would be able to sustain him if he was awake constantly, and I also don't think anything was keeping him from sleep, (other obviously than fear of sleep, which would be hard to shake after 15 years) and that his body would require it now that he's not a vessel anymore. I think he would have to learn how to sleep regularly but would probably still have bad habits/sleeping patterns.Â
It's my personal HC that he falls asleep anywhere and everywhere post extraction and Temari and Kankuro will constantly find him passed out in the middle of writing papers but he's really bad at sleeping through the night normally.Â
