Nanpanic / Ranked player
A term where one feels like everything they do in life is scored, and when they make a mistake or do something wrong, their score goes down. They may find it difficult or even impossible to "make their score go up," leading to failures feeling as if they have more of an impact than successes.
Inspired by the following lyrics in "8 (nanpa tu wan)" by jan Usawi:
pali ale li jo e nanpa tenpo pi pakala mi la nanpa en pilin mi li kama anpa
...which translate roughly to "everything I (do/make) has a score / whenever I make a mistake my score / and my heart sink." Colors inspired by the cover as well.
Intended for neurodivergent folks (in my case, social anxiety) but not exclusive. Tagging ... Huh. Technically this isn't a music term OR a toki pona term. Ok then I guess @miscellaneous-id @radiomogai
