As Dads we can be tough to buy for and only so many power tools will fit in the garage and there is only so much money that one person can purchase too (I tend to have expensive items on my want list!).

These are some of my favorite textile technology ventures discovered in the past 3 years. I know the first 3 personally from work and school. From Argon filled jackets to milk fabrics, there's a lot of innovation in the space. If you know of any cool tech in the space, by all means submit them.

Klymit - Nate Adler has created a jacket that is filled with an insulating gas, argon. Awesome for outdoorsmen. Nate is an avid entrepreneur and speaks a few languages as well. 

TitinTech- Patrick Whaley created a weighted workout vest that could be the next big jump on the competition for high performance athletes. 

VastRM - Jonathan Tang creates customized perfect fit clothing easy to acquire for all shoppers. He's bridged the UX and manufacturing gap for Perfect fit, the holy grail of textiles.  

Nano Tex- The technology is cool, but I'm always weary and skeptical of whether it is actually "nanotechnology."
