Yes! Iāve always loved the headcanon that Papyrus is a very skilled artist, and thatās bled into the others in its own way. Void is a painter primarily, or he sketches in charcoal when opting for something quicker and more casual. Very similar to Edge in that respect, with the primary difference being that Void draws more from emotion as time goes on, and branches out from loose realism/slight impressionism into impressionism/surrealism. As far as wanting to be, it was honestly never something heās put much thought into, just something he does when he wants to unwind. He likely wouldnāt consider himself artistic.

Oooh this is a good one. If he were to choose, probably something like a guardian spirit, something mostly peaceful that looks after others and has the ability to keep them safe. Why? He has so much unresolved guilt trauma. As for me though as much as Iād love to give a more in depth answer, Iām honestly not too well versed in specific fantasy creatures, at least not enough to kin assign one to Void! Just going off aesthetics though Iād probably make him some sort of fae or shadow entity, or maybe some sort of dragon. Mostly just because I like those things. Heād make a very cute dragon <3

Most of the guys in indifferent would also be friendly with them, they just donāt really have any draw to them particularly, while the only ones afraid of them would be Patch and Berry
That being said! The guys that like them would be friendly with them, wouldnāt mind keeping the household friendly types as pets, and might be interested in learning more about them from those that are more interested! Of which, Stretch, Ghost, and Coal would be the ones with most direct and specific interest!! Boss is mostly just in that category because he likes them more than most other animals, and may keep a more exotic type as a pet, but otherwise isnāt like the others as much.
Antares would also be an exception to being just an animal lover overall! The other guys in that category love animals, but rarely seek them out as any sort of specific interest, while Antares loves animals, all animals, a lot! Heād love to read books or watch specials about any of them, heād love any chance to meet any animals, from something as simple as a cat to the most exotic creatures on earth!
So!! Antares and Stretch would likely be the most knowledgeable on those dudes, theyād know tons of different species and breeds, and may even keep some as pets, household situation allowing, while Ghost more so just likes them in general. Would enjoy keeping a pet or visiting them at a zoo or reserve, but he doesnāt really seek out information about them as much. Just likes that they exist and finds them neat! I think heād have an especially soft spot for snakes. Antares might also have a tiny bias for, if this applies, all the strange creatures in the deep sea. Thatās not so much amphibian or reptilian, but itās adjacent agjdhsjfjdj
I think Stretch would especially love learning about their histories and like, their evolution! Amphibians especially, theyāre so neat to him, well, and komodo dragons, I think theyād also be a favorite! Iād imagine heād really enjoy having an aquarium with some newts and fish!
Oh! And Coal loves salamanders and snakes a lot!! But lizards are a close second place, heād love to learn more about them on the surface, he really admires how adaptable they are and how unique they are to so many other animals!

Okay Iām curious about these matchups - never described my personality before so h Mm
Iām a weird mix of both introverted and extroverted traits; Iām pretty quiet and just keep to myself most of the time but I can also be pretty energetic and out there (and impulsive) when I get spontaneous bursts of confidence - I have a habit of dissociating and get a pretty strong RBF from it that makes me look mad but I've been told I perk right back to up to smiley and whatnot as soon as someone talks to me!
I do have a habit of returning energy to people - if you're excited and hyped up Iāll be excited and hyped up too, if your sad Iāll be sad, if youāre hostile towards me Iāll be hostile as well, etc.
Other than that Iām just a pretty relaxed person in general, I usually sit in the background of conversations and listen in, draw, and of course - always bring up the reptiles at some point. I always have pictures of my geckos or some silly amphibian to show friends or friendly strangers between conversations š¦
As for a type; Honestly not sure, I donāt really have a preference as long as they're willing to communicate!
If Iām being honest Iām not sure if youād be partners or besties but the best partners are besties arenāt they? Iām thinking of Stretch (Underswap Papyrus)!
Stretch is (outwardly) very laid back, friendly, and has a silly sense of humor! Inwardly heās a bit anxious and awkward, but has long since (mostly) learned to hide it well. Nonetheless, the two of you would likely get along like two peas in a pod!
Heās not so much reflective as he is the kind of guy who gets along well with almost anyone, and he can feel a bit out of place with heavier emotions and situations. Not for lack of sympathy, but out of concern he wouldnāt be good at helping, so he tends to offer more of a shoulder to cry on or brings a little levity to the situation, while also trying to be respectful. As is the way with most Papyri, he struggles a bit with social aspects of relationships, so he would love to spend time just hanging out with you, either mutually doing your own things or chatting about interests (and he would love the little creatures). Heād really admire your flexible personality, and enjoy the energy and confidence just as much as your more chill side!
Even though he feels awkward doesnāt mean he always comes across that way, and still does enjoy going out or exploring from time to time, and has a pretty broad, casual friend circle. Really, heās happy to go with your flow or take you along with his whenever the vibes align.
His communication skillsā¦need work. But he is willing to put that work in for the right person, and the effort would be noticeable with time. Like anything, it takes practice, and youād put him at ease enough heād find an easier time communicating with you than most. And not just with communication, heād start putting more effort into taking better care of himself, too, and with time, heād quite literally become a better person for having a partner who is just as much a friend, and he would become a reliable, bright, and affectionate partner!

Anyways, let me tidy up the notes I have
Before I get into it, I must add a disclaimer: a large part of the reason I havenāt drawn much for it yet is because Iām still a little hesitant to solidly decide on locations, characterizations, and color palettes, so all of this may be subject to heavy alterations the more I flesh it out! The palette struggle is mostly because Iām torn between only really changing the red and black to white and blue vs just straight up inverting everything. I think that might be cool, but I think it could also run into the issue of becoming really heavily eye strain-y, so as it stands now, just the primary symbolic colors are inverted, while most everything else remains close to the same!
So. It was actually all inspired by the song Ocean Eyes by Billie Eilish, of all things. That came on my shuffle as I was walking, and I have a tendency to associate Billie Eilish music with Fells in general, Edge especially, because her music portrays a lot of emotionality in such a cold and quiet way, usually, and has sort of likeā¦an air of tragedy about it that just. Works, to me. But in these specific circumstances, that song doesnāt really fit given Underfellās colors are predominantly red- but that was where the lights flicked on.
I got this stark imagery of an Underfell Papyrus but with an inverse color palette. Complete with crisp bright blue eyes. Invertedfell. Itās not swapped, everything is inverted.
The Ruins are actually a well maintained place, probably just called something like āOld Homeā, itās relatively quiet and calm, the monsters there retreated from the world outside and are mostly just timid and exhausted. Toriel is...cold. Distant. The very definition of thousand yard stare. It feels like sheās looking through you. She wouldnāt help a player through, actively telling them they wonāt survive long down here, but when they inevitably make it to her house, she reluctantly lets them in to rest. Still does fight you to get you to stop, go back, or at least stay with her, feeling...a lot of responsibility for not just the children, but the current state of the underground.
Snowdin, a bustling town, probably twice the size of standard Snowdins, lots of people, very dangerous. The dogs are put together, fierce guards, hardly animalistic at all, and they reflect the Guard Captain who resides there. Papyrus is cold, quiet, and scarily calm. It seems like nothing upsets him. Rumor has it he doesnāt experience emotions. Or that, perhaps, his brother experiences enough for the both of them. Sans is a bit unhinged. Intense would be a good word to describe him. Can, and will, pick fights, and he doesnāt tolerate people talking shit about his brother. Has several nervous tics. Always smiling.
Waterfall is basically just a military training grounds. Most of the shops and their residents only survive thanks to passers through, itās dark, dingy, and above all, strict. Lieutenant Undyne is a miserable monster. After Papyrus defeated her for the position of Captain of the Guard, she became a bit of a recluse. Sheās still second in command, but doesnāt leave her house for anything that isnāt work, for the most part. Mute.
Hotland is essentially the testing grounds of the Royal scientist. Both residents and guards alike must be wary, things are always changing, posing threats, but it has a successful drug market since it *is so difficult to navigate. Difficult to catch criminals, too. Alphys is an angry, bitter scientist. One of the few people who will openly argue with Asgore, is self interested, and doesnāt have a lot of patience. Mettaton is mostly her social experiment (she does not take pride in what sheās done to him). He has trauma induced psychosis that is purposefully exploited for āentertainmentā.
New Home is next to abandoned. Run down, dirty, mostly people who canāt afford to live somewhere squat there. The castle is still in relatively good condition though. This is of no doing by the King. Heās as unstable, incredibly paranoid. Violent and angry, very difficult to deal with, and āhatesā just about everyone.
The important part is that, at their core, they are still all very much the same characters, just inverted. Not swapped with anyone, but their own traits are basically turned inside out more or less.
Some extra stuff specifically about the brothers!
Sans is. Essentially a loose cannon. Basically? He āsnappedā, and became so fed up with everything he stopped trying to hide his hand. People know how dangerous he is, and not just because heās the Judge. His anxiety basically became volatile hostility, and his paranoia gave him permission to act. He will do anything to protect them, and doesnāt make a secret of that. Though he is still generally miserable. They look out for each other, but when theyāre alone, rarely interact.
Papyrus. Heās not cruel, not really. He just. Lacks emotionality, basically. He has his priorities, his objectives, a job to do, and a reason. Gaster made them to break the barrier, and if the best he can do is obtain a human soul for it, then thatās what heāll do. But in the meantime, heāll keep them alive, and the best way to do that is status. Still secretive, of course, but is a little more straightforward about his strength as well, helps keeping things in line. He can express mildly, but I mean mildly. Itās rare to see anything beyond vaguely irritated, and his āhappyā is basically a barely there smile that looks more learned than natural. Heās like a robot, almost, and no one trusts him, not even Undyne. Sans is too fucked to care about trust. If Papyrus randomly killed him one day, it would just be something that happened. He doesnāt care anymore. But that doesnāt impact his motivation. Papyrus would never lay a hand on his brother.
Theyāre an odd job and a half, really.
But yeah!! I love thinking about them, and how drastically different all of their relationships are. Iceās nickname is definitely very fitting, but at his core, he is still Papyrus, just because he doesnāt show his emotions doesnāt mean he doesnāt have themā¦ Flowey and Frisk would also be inverted, so it might beā¦a little trickier to get a true pacifist ending, but it all balances out, in the end! Alsoā¦gotta come up with nickname for everyoneā¦
