Colossal Croconana: The Search Continues

Now it's time to enlist you to help find our missing Colossal Croconana.

Have you seen him? Have you seen him in the woods as you drove by? Has he been stealing food from your back patio?

Missing Colossal Croconana Update!

He's been spotted again! We were informed last night by an anonymous tipster that he's been seen again.

According to the voicemail we received, they heard a loud thump at their front door and their house shook slightly, and they thought that maybe a tree had fallen outside.

They rushed to the front window and peaked out, only to see him headed towards their front steps! They grabbed their camera, ran to the door, and opened pulled open the shades. They just managed to get a picture of him nearly at their door when he spotted them and took off into the night.

We are assuming he's either looking for food or possibly for a nice dry place to sleep for the night, but seems to be quite skittish around people yet.

Hopefully he finds his way home soon!

We're still on the hunt for our missing Colossal Croconana.

Colossal Croconana Day 6 Update:

Today we got a HUGE update (see what we did there?).

Colossal Croconana is apparently learning and adapting much faster than we could have ever imagined! We were sent polaroids of his most recent venture.

Today he was spotted in a local coffee shop and not only did he somehow get himself a drink, but he was reading a book as well! This is operating on a totally new level of intelligence!

He also, apparently, attempted a bit of piano playing, but we were told that he wasn't so good at it due to his tiny forelegs.

But at least now we know that he's warm and has had at least something to drink. It's astounding how quickly he's picking up the habits of the people around him and managing, despite his size, to blend in without attracting massive amounts of attention to himself.

Colossal Croconana : Day 8!

Every day we're gathering more information about our missing Colossal Croconana and getting just a little bit closer to bringing him back home again.

This time someone spotted him while they were out for a jog not far from their house. They took a few pictures and from what we've been told, he seems to really like being near the water.

Based on the data that we were provided with, we've never seen him look quite so happy as he has today. This is very encouraging, and also helps us with building just the right environment for when we can get him home again.

So far he shows no signs of fatigue or hunger, and from what we can tell from photo evidence, he seems to be in high spirits yet. All of this is positive information.

RUNAWAY COLOSSAL CROCONANA UPDATE!

We are still on the hunt for our run-away Colossal Croconana and have our best trackers on the job. Croconana are usually incredibly light on their feet and leave little to no footprints behind. We are hoping, because of his size, that there will be evidence of him passing through places and accidentally knocking over objects and possibly tearing down branches as he passes. We're not even sure if he'll be able to find enough potassium in the wild on his own.

We did catch a little bit of a lucky break tonight, though, and he was spotted on a security camera not too far from our lab. We were sent the footage and we think that there must have been some sort of noise or light and by the time we got there he'd been frightened off, leaving no evidence behind and no trace of where he's headed next! But at least we know he's safe. And he looks plenty happy and healthy still, so that's a good sign.
