What I realize Jeremy said I love you once but I know he does it seems like Bonnie says it all the time. Just my opinion .
Yeah I get you but idk i’ve just always seen it as him saying it without saying it like
-Jeremy wanting to spend his last moments with her = I love you
-Jeremy trying to take care of her in the cave =I love you
-Jeremy saying ‘I’m here for you, whatever you need’ =I love you
-Jeremy saying ‘You, I feel that way about you (love and want to protect)’ =I love you
I mean Bonnie has verbally said it more but she literally only says the exact words when her back is against the wall. And i’m positive he would have said it back if he wasn’t dying or afraid she was about to die. I think it has a lot to do with their identity as a couple, they do instead of say unless it’s the only thing left they can do (If that makes any sense to you lol)
I realized in 5x08 & 5x20 he's on top of Bonnie while they kiss in the bed. That probably their favorite position 😏😉
