Out of the group, I think either they’re the closest, Dora and Kate, Or Emma and Naiya.

And if you didn't know that, you do now.

But there are other singers who also make appearances as Layton characters.

So I decided to compile them all because they deserve the attention too.

(And I added links to the songs in case you need to remember how good they are)

Salyu

As well as singing Iris, the ending theme to Diabolical Box, Salyu is the Japanese voice actress for Babette.

Unlike Yuming she doesn't appear as an official character, but makes a cameo in Dropstone.

Yūko Andō

The character Naiya is based off the singer Yūko Andō who sings Paxmáveiti, the theme to Spectre's Call.

In the game, Naiya is a singer and Layton and Luke help her to write a new song.

Her profile says she is friends with another singer from London. This is likely Janice, as Naiya has a record of hers in her room.

Kana Adachi

She sings Change; the opening song to the first half of Layton's Detective Agency.

She is also the voice actress for Madame Doublèe's adorable maid in episode 9.

Kana Hanazawa

The voice actress for Katrielle, who also sings Daijoubu; the ending theme for the anime series.

Katrielle occasionally hums this song in the series.
