One Shade, Not One Skin Tone We are raising our voices against colourist polish companies who have denied equal representation to our POC friends. Some nail polish companies, indie brands, are not accepting POCs for swatching, saying that their colors will not be clearly visible on darker skin tones. @so_nailtastic brought together people of all skin colors, wearing the same colour of polish, the color of peace- White. Seeing the the diversity in skin tones, all hands wearing the same shade, we are trying to tell these racist polish companies that all skin tones are beautiful, the nail polish looks amazing in all hands. POCs need representation in the beauty industry. All the manicures in this collab look exactly the same so that we can show a comparison and bring out the beauty in diversity.
