The Covid- 19 pandemic has brought forth many issues that were previously unnoticed. Problems from education to work spaces have been affected equally across the board. Among these spaces are the trade careers of those in the beauty industry. Beauticians, barbers, nail technicians, aestheticians, and massage therapist have been trust into a new uncertain world for their work. One might even argue that these workers have been pushed a bit to the back burner in the wake of the disaster that doctors and nurses face. Yet, just because these workers have not been able to go back to work safely, the need for these services have not magically become obsolete. People will not only need but also want to get their hair cuts, their manicures, and massages. 

Despite the roadblocks for careers in the beauty industry, a job in the beauty industry can be rewarding for a lifetime as long as the proper safety measures are taken. There are multiple avenues you can take from hair care to skin care to muscle care. Trade schools are more affordable than a degree and introduction programs are a usually no more than a year of work, shorter than it takes to earn a degree. Additionally, a license in a beauty trade also offers work flexibility. You can start a business, become self employed, or gain a position in a company. More than that, a career in the beauty industry is a fun and great holistic outlet for creativity. Finally, a trade in beauty will give you a set of skills you will be able to have forever. You will never be out of work as long people will need a haircut, their nails done, a massage, or any other beauty service.
