A Naha, vue depuis le château de Shuri
Il est difficile d'expliquer à quel point la partie sud de l'île d'Okinawa est urbanisée. Tout n'est qu'entremêlement de villes, routes, maisons, naviguant entre des bouts de jungles.
(Attention, on parle bien là de la partie sud de l'île dans laquelle se trouve la ville de Naha, capitale d'Okinawa.) (On peut voir l'île d'Okinawa comme divisée en trois parties : au sud, beaucoup de ville ; au centre : un équilibre entre jungle et villes plus petites ; au nord : presque uniquement de la forêt (il n'y a même pas d'hôtels pour y dormir)).
Une vue du haut du château de Shuri permet de voir une partie de la ville de Naha (dans la brume).
