anyway x2, i think he started out as a kind of..... spirit, not quite a voidsent, who occasionally butted heads with the elementals but stayed under the radar for the most part until they were weakened following the calamity and now hes like, my twelveswood now :) except the combined efforts of the elementals + seedseers (and the wol on their own lbr) could take him at this point so he's still chillin mostly. gathering strength and/or waiting for another calamity that weakens the elementals further or even wipes them out, then he'll be top dog. spirit. thing.

that makes him seem Purposely Malevolent but hes more...... part of an abstract food chain, except now after eating & taking nagi's form he's able to experience spoken thoughts n concepts n things that just didnt matter as a living/existing creature in the twelveswood who was far more dangerous than any animal predator but who, ultimately, wasnt that different. so it is pretty jarring for him to just be able to waltz into quarrymill or gridania now, and he lacks the...... not maturity, i think, but social awareness? expected of him--of nagi. so he can come off as ditzy or rude. which he is! but most of the time, or at least the first few times he does something, its just bc he doesnt know.
