The short lore bit with Bad did with Lilith near end of her stream yesterday. Summary Lilith started out with asking traveling the multiverse as usual which he responded yes and she says its nice to have a place to stay in one time. He warns her against getting attached too attached to things. Later on in conversation he states that he thinks its time to need Lilith's assistance enforced from their contract for things outside of this realm/universe

Faro’s Dream
Just a little set up to how my silly little adventurer woke up in the world of MythCraft, I hope y’all like it!
The sounds of crackling campfire harmonizing with the gentle forest ambiance was the perfect lullaby after a long day of walking. There was a gentle summers breeze with not a cloud in the sky, the full moon and twinkling stars illuminating the land below. The campfire was beginning to simmer out, but its subtle warmth and his sleeping bag kept him at the perfect temperature for a lovely nights rest.
As the red panda slowly drifted to sleep, the forest sounds began to fade and a new sound came instead. The familiar sounds of waves crashing along a shoreline began to replace the melody of the world around him. He missed the sounds of the ocean, it was a second home to him. The sirens song of the seas quickly shifted from blissful to an all too familiar nightmare
Suffocating
The sounds of canon fire from above the surface muffled by the dark, cold ocean. Stray debris of wood and cloth were scattered across the depths around him, joining them in the decent to the deep.
He’d revisited this memory more often than he’d like, but the questions were still the same.
Who won the battle that day? Did his crew come out victorious, or did all the people he knew suffer a horrible fate? Did his crew mates, his friends, mourn his death? Did they even miss him?
As he pondered the sea grew darker as he sunk deeper and deeper to the ocean floor. His first instinct was to try to swim to the surface, cry for help, but he knew how poorly that would go. Instead he closed his eyes and let the darkness take him.
When he opened his eyes again, there was nothing around him except an endless purple blackness dotted with faint stars. He swore he saw movement in the abyss out of the corner of his eye. Every time he’d try to get a better look at it, it was gone, so either he was going crazy or his eyes were just playing tricks on him. But then came whispers, sounding both way too far away while also sounding right behind him. He tried to call out to whoever or whatever seemed to be playing with him, but no noise ever came out. The whispers grew louder and more unintelligible until it went quiet as quick as the shadow disappeared.
The silence was deafening until a sudden voice whispered so close to his fuzzy red and white ears that it made his skin crawl
“Wake up”
And wake up he did with a panic and labored breath. The bright morning sun was only just beginning to peak over the trees. He found himself in taller grass and flowers he had never seen before. This isn’t where he had gone to sleep the night before, his campsite and his gear were gone.
Where on earth was he? Who was that voice? He had many questions but without gear, food or any idea of where he was, those questions would have to wait. Survival was more important at the moment.
After dusting grass and dirt from his tail and hair, he scans the horizon and lays eyes on distant smoke
He’ll worry about the dream and the voices later when he doesn’t have to worry about an empty stomach
mythcraft starter set is going for $5 rn over the weekend.
please do yourself a favour and grab it if
you want more crunch on a d20 system than 5e but not to the extent of pathfinder
you're bored of levelling up and getting nothing when you do
the idea of classes like witch or oracle excite you
you want potent magic, such as when you're tapping into the source directly or when you're stealing it from higher entities, to come with a sense of danger
....without imposing penalties to those who are good with dabbling with safer magic
you've never understood why there has to be a difference between a cleric and a warlock
you want to be free of "action small action movement" and choose freely what you want to do by just spending points, whether it's multiple spells in a round or running across plains or shanking someone in between casting cantrips
the idea of big, multiple-round magic rituals during which martials get to put on their best defensive and offensive abilities to protect the squishy trying to finish sounds really fucking cool to you
you like crit range increases built into the system instead of being something you need to multiclass dip for
the rules are also available for free on their SRD, but if you learn better by reading pdfs, i cannot recommend putting aside a fiver for this enough
