All of the color drained from Drogo's face, and the light that had returned to him after so long being absent died once more. The words hung in the air reverberating within his mind over and over. In the beginning she had rebuked him, told him countless times that she didn't want it and that she would probably abort it before long but for some odd reason she never did . . . The reason still eluded the man, though it was not as if it matter now.
"The baby was healthy... she couldn't have lost her." Drogo whispered softly to himself, his mind throwing out why this person would be lying to him . . . Perhaps he was with some other gang... someone trying to take up the spot Jhaqo had left after he blew his brains out. Paparazzi trying to get him riled up so he would speak on their odd living arrangements and why they got divorced and went along with it when they were to have a kid. "You're lying." His voice broke, tremors slipping up his body before a whimper broke through his lips. Something... an instinct within himself, told him that the man's words were true. . .. that the child he felt so connected to already had been ripped from him. And there wasn't a chance at her returning... or another taking her place. "Leave me..." He whispered tears streaming down his face unhindered, his body curling in upon himself now.
