And it will be MY honour to dive into your gift on Christmas Day, I assure you! π This event always signals the start of all things Christmassy for me, so consider me full of excitement and anticipation over whatever wonderful gift you're planning to create! β¨
I've been pondering your question for the entirety of today, and I'm so worried about making things too specific or restricting for you, that I thought I'd just throw out some random ideas of things I enjoy or want to read more of and let you cherry-pick? Is that ok? I PROMISE YOU, as my list of likes suggests (which I'm so glad you share), anything you conjure up will bring a huge smile to my face, so please, write whatever inspires you! β
Okay....these two being competent at whatever job or hobby they have, season one levels of flirting from Magnus (that warm the marshmallow centre of Alec), a sprinkling of humour (be it dark or dry as the desert), holding each other in ways that scream 'cherished' (like cuddling on the couch, leaning back against a solid warmth as they're being held, tucked protectively into their chest), having the story set partially or wholly outside of New York or even the US can be fun, them being exes (amicable or otherwise) that cross paths again unexpectedly (because I don't see a great deal of those ones), anything that flips a trope is always a nice surprise, Alec getting a kick out of Magnus' jewellery (or vice versa?), and if I confess to having had the urge to read (or even write) plots involving anything from line dancing country clubs to Regency-era family feuds, gothic horror to underwater kingdoms, I hope you realise that almost anything goes when it involves Malec falling or being in love - so have at it if you think of something niche or quirky!π
