Character Design class sketches, I’m developing an idea about a kid who gets a job at summer camp to look for aliens in the woods, but is deeply disappointed to find there’s only an assortment of cryptids living there.

This is the “look shot” for my animation forms assessment! We have to have a project proposal for an animation inspired by artwork at QAG (I picked “Harvesting Scene” by Kenneth Macqueen). The colours reminded me of my backyard, so my animation focusses on the movement of trees and clouds in the wind. 

My super quick and shitty animatic for my animation forms project proposal, just trying to figure out the movement of the trees and clouds in the wind, but on a loop. I’m having it so the animation is shown on a kinematoscope which is sort of like a mechanical flipbook? 

Working on scanning all my tiny sketchbooks from the last year and a bit, to turn into both digital and physical books you guys can buy!
