On Tuesday, I did my very first lesson in front of a class. It also was the one that was watched by Dr. Wood! So talk about nerve racking! 

Thankfully though it was on a subject that I couldn't mess up! It was about Me and the culture of The United States of America, especially my home of California! The kids were so excited to learn more about me and where I come from. We compared different aspects of culture such as food, and sports, and homes. We talked about how all of these parts make our culture and home special to us! They loved talking about different words we use and the similarities that we have such as we both eat Pizza! It was so much fun talking to these kids about where I come from and what makes their country special as well. At the end I had the kids write two sentences one telling me something that is similar and one that is about a difference between our two cultures. They also then had to draw a picture depicting these sentences. Overall, my lesson went really well and I enjoyed being in front of the class. I know this is what I want to do with my life!!!
