Its mostly Lucifer since he is my favorite character, but vox and alastor are my close seconds, so they got to feature. Anyway this scene was PURE GOLD

I mean come on, lucifer being a precious little creature and a dumbass but well-intentioned dad? Alastor being sassy and ragebaiting as usual? Vox being utterly delusional (as always) and both alastor and lucifer being totally unimpressed? Its a MASTERPIECE

All those Alastor lovers (myself included), which is the best Alastor ship in your opinion?

Saw some posts that reminded me of these lovable dorks so I decided to make one of these, might do more with other characters

Seriously, keep writing that obscure, niche little fic about a pairing that has never interacted, or a storyline that will never come to pass, or an oddly specific type of smut that most people will call "weird". There will be someone out there who wants to read it. And even if there isn't, you do, and that's reason enough.

And to those of you out there who don't go by the same sentiment that I do? Who, instead of scrolling past those fics you have no interest in, pause and take the time to ruin someone's day by leaving a hateful comment? I have very little to say to you. Since you seem to forget that fanfiction authors are real people, I don't care to consider you as such either.

Fanfiction is a gift. AO3 is a gift. Remember to treat it like one.

Too much effort has gone into criticizing something that real, talented people have chosen to spend their precious time to create, FOR FREE, and share with the world. I, for one, count myself incredibly lucky every time I open a new fic — honestly, every time I simply scroll through tags I like, and find thousands of works. All those people have given their best to people like me, and I couldn't be more grateful.

And to all the writers whose fics are only getting two or three kudos? Who check in on their stats every day, hoping for one more? I adore you. I'm proud of you. I'm cheering you on. And I promise you, someone out there will read your fic and it will change their life, and that is why you should keep writing. And not only for them, but for yourself. Do what brings you joy. That is plenty.

What you create matters. It's worth it. It's beautiful. And it deserves to exist. Keep creating it.

i haven't always shipped radioapple

like, i just remembered The Olden Days™️ when i was like "hm that's cool i guess" but didn't really care much about it

and then i saw more and more fanart

and then i read a few fics

and then i rewatched the show

and now i can't even imagine not shipping radioapple lmao, i'm literally writing two different fics about it

but like i just had a moment where i remembered a very vivid memory of scrolling on pinterest and coming across cutesy radioapple fanart and being like "yk... the more i see of this, the more i want to ship it..."

there was only sposed to be ten but its like idk some ungodly hour of the morning so dont mind taht

Shitting on something that brings other people joy doesnt fix what you don't like about it. It just makes people feel afraid to be open about things that make them happy. It makes people feel like theyre wrong for enjoying something, just because you dont.

"Its problematic" bitch everything's problematic these days, watch the fucking news. At least the hellaverse makes people feel safe, included, and seen. Why does it matter?

If you find joy in making others feel like shit for what they enjoy, maybe it's time you do some self reflection, cuz if anything that sounds more problematic than any "issue" in the hellaverse.
