Brains been going 100 miles a minute thanks to Soto exploring Tyrian aliens and I've had so much inspiration to re-develop one of my oldest characters ever, Carmen.

We have wizards, we have demons, but I want witches!! And no, i don't mean the wizard/witch gender dichotomy that's silly. So I was thinking, and I like the concept of witches vs wizards mirroring each other but being inherently different. Soto wizards are Tyrian, are generally all good, and it sounds like anybody has the potential to be a wizard, or among the court, so long as they practice and study the magic. My witches, on the other hand, can be born in any world and are inherently witches. They're born with a particular domain they rule (dreams, moon, stars, nature, etc etc literally anything). They are also mist-walking, irregular entities that tend to eventually congregate at the Witches' Court, where they compete for influence and status. They also can have any kind of alignment. Power, at the end of the day, is what matters.

And Carmen, who used to be a sun deity, got a bit of a thematic change. She'll still tell anybody that asks that shes a fire or a sun mage, but her true nature is now the prominent Witch of the Event Horizon, aka. Black Holes. She's able to devour any kind of magic and utilize it for herself, but since she was born in a star death, and later 'ate' a different sun, her magic since her birth has been fire magic. She has a plethora of it in store, but it is finite. It will run out some day, and she'll need to 'eat' something else. She also has a passive pressure she exerts due to gravity.
