IM LIKE THIS CLOSE TO MAKING A SIDEBLOG JUST TO KEEP TRACK OF EVERYTHING WITH CHERRI'S COBBLEMON SERVER. THERE'S SO MANY PEOPLE. PLEASE,,,
SecUnits fight
So. The company SecUnits have onboard (arms) energy weapons whereas the Barish-Estranza SecUnits have onboard projectile weapons. Since the weapons are usually hidden inside their lower arms, they need to be relatively small. So, with the projectile weapons, once they have finished shooting whatever the number of rounds, they cannot easily reload, presumably. In heavy combat situations, what do they do? Do they carry a spare or two and re-install? (I guess they don't replace their entire arms...)
Anyway. I was thinking about how they fight differently and made this table. (Yes, spreadsheet again...)
It's not really validated in text. Just imagined based on what I read in the book series...
Finally.
The hightest number has been 11 for so long......
i've come to. the evil work for my spreadsheet. which is add all the items and how to obtain them. its like. a thousand items (tired) but once thats done itll be finishing touches. i even got vigils in and it took like. 15 mins :^]

I've finally completed the first side quest of my dcmk data collection Journey.
My low count of days passed has finally passed 365 days.
So I will now tell you how long it takes for a normal year to pass in Detective Conan by every metric I could think of!:
My low day count only counts days we see occurring and doesn't count anime original episodes or movies- in fringe cases where there is debate about whether or not something should count this metric wouldn't count it; that count reached a year as of episode 597 The Scenario of the Steaming Locked Room.
My high day count includes days that we're told happened but didn't see, for example in the Black star heist things begin on the night leading into April 1st, but then the boating portion happens on the 19th, we don't see those in between days but we know that they happened because that's just how time works, this count also doesn't include anime originals or movies; this count reached a year at episode 174 The Twenty Year Old Murderous Intent: The Symphony Serial Murder Case.
I also have a count that takes the high count number and includes the anime originals and movies; this count reaches a year at episode 91 The Bank Robber's Hospitalization Case. And if you want the same but for the low count it required a bit of math but the answer is episode 208 The Entrance to the Maze: The Anger of the Colossus.
If you go by months as they're mentioned, February is the first month mentioned in episodes adapted from the manga (Episode 7 Once-A-Month Present Threat Case), and with several mentions of months throughout we surpass a year at episode 76 Kid Vs Conan where as mentioned above it is late March and early to mid April, but counting anime originals and movies then we still start with February thanks to episode 6 the Valentine's Murder case but we surpass a year instead with the First Movie which takes place in late April and early May but came out before Kid vs Conan.
Similarly we can go by seasons as they're mentioned. Which since we already know our earliest clear dates are in February means we start with Winter both with and without anime originals and movies. Counting the anime originals we loop around to a second winter at episode 37 The Cactus Flower's Murder Case, but we know that isn't a full year yet because only 5 episodes later in the Karaoke Box Murder Case it's Christmas, so that's December Winter not February Winter, so going a bit further till we hit Spring we reach episode 52 The Mist Goblin Legend Murder Case, which fills this roll whether you're counting anime originals or not. But wait..... There's more!
I did a similar project to this with the manga where I tracked less data points, so we have another low and high count operating on similar rules to what I listed above for the anime but because there are differences between the anime and manga the results are also different.
The manga's low count surpasses a year at chapter 643 Wings of Icarus.
And the manga's high count surpasses a year at chapter 211 A Nice Day in Tokyo.
We have yet to find out what the word 'year' means to the people of Beika, but I have found 9 things that clearly are not it. Though I won't have answers for that until either the series ends or admits a year has passed.
