Closing his eyes Simon breaths a long heavy sigh out his nose. The sub jolting him slightly as it continues its path upward. A small smile forms across his face. A foreign feeling, but welcome in what is most likely his final moments.

Gripping the black box against his chest with his only arm Simon starts to hum a song. The humming slowly starts to form into a low whispered song. His throat aches as his voice croaks out. “Years ago, when I was younger, I kinda liked a boy I knew….”

A single tear forms as Simon takes a shaky breath,”He was mine and we were sweethearts….” Opening his eyes Simon lets the tears fall freely, his good eye blurring as he croaks out,”That was then, but then it's true.”

Simon’s injured eye stings as the tears cascade down, leaving trails across his blood soaked face. A sob mixed with a chuckle leaves his lips as they quiver,”I'm in love with a fairytale, even though it hurts.”

The sub jolting again as it hits a current, sending Simon flying forward. He skids across the floor stopping just before he reaches the chair. With no energy left to keep fighting Simon curls into a ball, using the majority of what body he has left to try and protect the last hope of humanity. His mind starts to slow as he whispers,“'Cause I don't care if I lose my mind, I'm already cursed…”

Another jolt sends a few bolts flying as pipes burst letting more blood to pour around Simon’s small form. The only thought Simon musters before giving into the darkened,’All I wanted was to live, was that really asking too much?’

Up above a dark and gloomy planet Grace looks over the scans a third time to make sure he wasn’t loosing his marbles. “An ocean made of nothing but blood, gross.” Scrunching up his face in disgusted he scratches the back of his head. “Rocky are you sure there was distress signal coming from this planet?”
