---------------------------------------------------
You put your car in park and looked to the sign with a sigh.
Finally, time to relax...
After grabbing your bag and whatever other lose items you needed, you made your way inside and headed straight to the reception desk. The fae who was standing there looked to you and offered a kind smile, you smiling back. "Hi, are you here for the public springs or do you have a reservation."
"Reservation." You said while pulling out your phone. They asked for your name and you gave it to them before they searched through the reservation list. "You'll be in spring 7." They said softly. "Azalea will take you to your room and be of service to you today." You nodded and looked to the other fae they motioned to.
Azalea nodded to you and motioned to follow and you did. The place was gorgeous, light wood floors with simple white panel walls, lightly decorated with paintings and plants. The majority of the sliding doors that lead to the outdoor springs were closed besides the very last one marked with the number 7.
She smiled and let you go in first. You looked around the space as she showed it to you. "This is the changing and locker room, over there is the bathroom, and the phone to call if you need me is right here by the door." She said while pointing to all the respective places. You thanked her as she left you to your own devices.
A smile crossed your features as you went into the changing room. You set your bag down on the bench and started to get undressed. You looked into the full body mirror as you did and smiled fondly at the scars on your chest before your eyes cast their gaze downwards.
One day...
You put all your stuff in a locker before grabbing one of the pristine white towels from the shelf. You wrapped it around yourself and stepped out into the open area that held the private spring.
You had the space all to your self from the time they opened to the time they closed. Or, at least, you should have. Right as you were about to strip of your towel, a tall, slim, and near naked man had walked out. He looked at you with confusion. "Um... This is room 7... Right?" You kept yourself turned away from him and your towel tight around your waist. "Y-Yes... I booked this room for today..." He pauses for a moment before turning to face the door, showing off his beautifully translucent wings, telling he was a fae.
You couldn't help but look at them, they were beautiful. He looked back to you and smiled. "I'm really sorry. I guess we got double booked. I'll go see if I can get one of the free rooms instead." He turned to go back into the changing room but you called out to him before he did.
You looked to his bright eyes and shyly said. "It's fine. I don't mind sharing." He side eyed you for a moment before asking, "Are you sure? You seemed a bit hesitant saying that." You shrugged. "I did book it for myself but I don't want you to go through the trouble of getting another room considering they'll probably reschedule you for days or even weeks from now. I'm sure you know how busy it gets here, I planned this several months ago and I'm just now getting to it." You said with a soft huff of a laugh.
He looked between the door and you, processing what you said. "Yeah. I guess you're right. But seriously, I don't mind re-booking if you want to be by yourself. I know my best friend is like that, he doesn't like to be bare in front of other guys." He said, sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck. You shrugged and said, "As long as you look away and let me get in first you can stay."
The stranger nods before turning away. You slipped the towel off, internally scolding yourself for making this choice. You couldn't go back now so you just put up with it, maybe he won't be here for long. "Ok." He turned to look and saw you facing away from him.
"Might I join you?" He asked quite charmingly. You nodded and heard the soft patters of his feet getting closer to you. You glanced over to him as he slowly stepped in. His body was beautiful, as expected of a fae. You could see him smile out of the corner of your eye before relaxing into the water.
"I'm Morrin, thank you for letting me intrude."
He said, offering a slim hand to you. Shaking his hand, you nodded and shared your name with him. Morrin said your name again as if testing how it rolled off his tongue. Once the introductions were over, Morrin laid back and closed his eyes. You couldn't help the desire to look at him. He had nice features, they were soft in comparison to a fae like Azalea. His ears were also relatively short and tapered out into a more rounded point. He had what you could only describe as a Ken doll body but it was nice none the less.
You looked away once you saw him tilting his head back slightly. "Ahh... The fae here always do such a great job with tending to the springs, so relaxing." You couldn't help but agree as you sunk down a bit into the water and rest your head on the side of the spring, closing your eyes and just relaxing.
"Are you trans?" He suddenly asked, you tensed slightly and furrowed your brows before looking up to him. Morrin looked up to your face from your chest. He seemed like he didn't mean any harm by the comment, judging by the innocent look on his face. You hesitantly nodded. "Yeah." He smiled brightly and chuckled.
"My best friend, the guy I mentioned earlier, he's trans too. Sorry if I scared you. I just noticed the scars so I was curious." You smiled softly and relaxed again. "Yeah. That's why I booked it just for myself." Morrin nods. "That's understandable. I'd definitely do the same. If you don't mind me asking, how long have you been transitioned or transitioning for." You shrugged and brushed your hair back from your face. "About two years now. I'm still taking T and stuff. I got my top surgery done last year and that was probably the greatest day of my life." Morrin smiled fondly. "I can imagine what getting that weight off your chest must have felt like. Literally." You laughed a bit at his stupid joke but nodded none the less.
"I got to be there when Mos saw his new chest for the first time after surgery. I dont think I've ever seen someone so happy in my entire life over anything. I felt so honored that not only I was the first one he told about being trans but also the first to see him after surgery, besides the doctors of course."
You smiled and listened to him ramble on about Mos. "You two are very close huh?" Morrin nodded. "Yeah, sorry I'm going on about him, I sound like I'm in love. I admit, I did find him very attractive both before and after he transitioned but he's got a girlfriend and compared to her I don't stand a chance." He said with a soft laugh.
Morrin turned slightly to glance at the clock. "Ah, it's about time my reservation would be over. I suppose that's my queue to leave you be." He said standing up. "Well, I mean..." He paused to look at you to see you looking away from him with a blush on your face. "You don't have to leave..." He laughed and you looked up to him as he sat back down into the water, stretching his wings out a bit. "Oh? I thought you wanted time to yourself."
The blush on your face darkened a bit more at the tone. Just in the short time you had known him, your brain latched on and made a connection, even if he barely talked about himself. The way he talked about Mos made you adore him and feel very comfortable in his presence. "I... Would like to get to know you better if you'd let me." You said, looking over to his bright green eyes. He smiled and looked into yours. "I wouldn't mind, as long as you allow me the same." You smiled and nodded.
"I would like that."
The two of you stayed till almost closing, occasionally getting out of the spring to dry off and watch the cars go by while chatting about random topics. "Morrin." He looked over to you when you called his name. "Thank you, I appreciated today. I guess good company is what I needed to relax." You said, adjusting the towel around your hips.
Morrin smiled and gently placed his index and thumb on your chin, making you look to him. You blushed softly and he smiled more, closing his eyes for a moment before saying. "Thank you for letting me stay. And ramble on about whatever. Not many people are willing to just listen to me, regardless of if they respond or not." He moved his hand down the length of your arm and gently grabbed your hand. "Let me take you out to dinner sometime. As an apology for crashing your reservation." You smiled and shook your head. "How about as a date instead of an apology." He smirked and glanced down to your hand before looking back to your eyes.
"I'd like that."
