Well, that wasn’t the kinda day he had in mind. He knew that Lorna had informed Erik of their relationship, but he’d done a pretty damn good job thus far of avoiding actually talking to the guy since then. But he got why Lorna’d wanna change that, even if Logan wasn’t quite so optimistic about her father accepting them or even beginning to.
He gave a sigh, “Alright. I’ll tag along.” He wasn’t doing it as reluctantly as it seemed, though. He wasn’t afraid of Erik or anything, he just knew this wasn’t likely to go well. Or maybe it’d be the exact opposite and go better than he thought? Experience told him not to hold his breath. He walked over to Lorna, wrapped his arms around her from behind, pressed his lips against her shoulder, “I’m not gonna pretend I’m lookin’ forward to it.” He admitted, never one to shy away from saying the truth, “But I know this means a lot to you.” And if it meant a lot to her, then he supposed it meant a lot to him, too.
He held her for a few more seconds, letting his fingers brush the soft skin of her stomach, before he finally pulled away, “I even promise to behave myself... assuming he does the same.” He followed his words with a small chuckle then gave her bottom a quick pat with a large hand before walking away to get the shower started for them.
