Despite there being at least 4 different evolution lines of bear Pokémon, I picked Bewear for Shownu. Though I originally thought perhaps using Ursaring, but it seems too aggressive to be our passive leader (though it does fiercely defend its young, aka the other members). Bewear evolves from cute little Stufful... out of spite cause it hates being hugged, so let's just ignore that bit. Bewear looks adorable as heck but is so powerful it could literally break you in half when it hugs you. I've seen Shownu lift TWO girls on each bicep on a tv show. AND I've heard the members say that he doesn't usually use all his strength (that it comes out in full force when he drinks, and apparently he once flung.. I think it was Minhyuk? ACROSS THE LIVING ROOM. oh my god-) So yeah, Shownu is the embodiment of Bewea's duality in this case. He has a tendency to either look adorable but us really strong af, OR looks tough on stage yet is a total softie off stage. 💘
