Moving Forward...
And apparently reckoning with a -severe- case of what my mother “charmingly” calls “Crafting ADHD”...
I have a lot of bins stacked around my house, most are stackable which helps. I have a bunch in my living room, some in the spare bedroom of my 2 bedroom -600 sqft, one storey- house. There is NOT a lot of room so stackable bins made life easier for storage.
Well, Mr. Brown and I need to make room for some things, so this weekend we started sorting through the bins, sorting out random balls of yarn that should go in my yarn storage area, WIPs that need to get finished, and another special bin for a Secret Project for February, details to come soon on that!
Sooo, today I continued the work we started and oh my god people I have SO many WIPs! So many it’s kind of terrifying. So I have stopped sorting and started re-sorting the bins I’ve already done, getting them neat and tidy and writing out, by hand, a list of the projects, what yarn and hook I’m using, and then putting them in a bin. I am currently at FIFTEEN and I’ve only reorganized one bin...oh and it’s only half full. I have have 2 more bins, one that’s -full- one that is 1/2 to 3/4 full and oh... my... gods. Frigga give me strength to get through this.
Because I still have another full bin to sort through in the living room and at least 3 in the back bedroom. Wish me luck! At least I’ll be organized and won’t be bored this year!
