Save the date! Midwest Fest 8 October 22-24, 2015 Hunters Ale House - Mt Pleasant, MI A month later this year than the past four years. This is due both in part to working around the CMU football schedule, but also moving it away from a few events that conflicted in the past, allowing MWFest to get the most attention possible to make it the best event we possibly can. More bands will likely be available to play this later date, we will have more time to promote, and we won't lost in the back to school hub bub that always seems to overshadow our promotion efforts when the students return in late August. I truly feel this will be a tremendous move for the festival. It will also allow us a bit more time to work with organizations within the CMU community to help spread the word about this great celebration of music to those around the entire campus as well as beyond into the mid Michigan community at large as we have in years past. There's some pretty awesome plans in store for MWFest 8, and we will be sharing plenty of announcements in the next few months!

It's like Xmas morning! MWFest gets underway tonight at Hunter's Ale House with Cheap Girls, Moses, Heaters, The Curls, and Shiloh kicking things off. Tickets will be available at the door and are just $5! Weekend passes are just $10. See you there!

Mystic Woods Historical Society Would Like To Let You Know:
They are currently planning a festival for Columbus Day Weekend, to honour the town's heritage. There will be artisans, artists, food, and games in the Towne Square - so be sure to show up! And of course, a raffle with lots of fun prizes!
