Better - almost extreme closeup. #tribalmakeup is extremely basic and using the awesome art and zooming in for reference really helped to create this Grassland Dark Fey as inspired by Art Station art by one of the contributing artists on #Maleficent and #maleficentmistressofevil for the #mwestmore #faceoffchallenge judges by @ptatopoulos and @mwestmore themselves. For this weeks challenge from @mwestmore and @ptatopoulos with the inspiration and theme of #maleficentmistressofevil I created my #quarentine2020 version of this awesome Grasslands Dark Fey image and donned wings and makeup for this weeks #faceoffchallenge. @kromestudio had to help me adjust the lighting a bit but the rest is makeup from @mehronmakeup clown white and @bennyemakeup death wheel topped with a bit of eyeshadow. I used a small demon brow and dark elf ears from @themonkeyrodeo and lots of craft feathers. I used my red lenses from @pinkyparadisedotcom because my green ones all got dried up. Hope you like it. I was happy and will post more photos later once I look them over. This weeks makeup challenge was Aliens. So here is mine. I made my FIRST bald cap ever!!! And Applied it on MYSELF as a first try 🤦‍♀️😝 I then made a nose and head piece out of clay foam. In the end I ended up cutting them apart and flipping the nose piece as my original idea did not work. I used a battery operated wine bottle lights to light up my spikes. I splattered iridescent acrylic paint over all of it to give it some color and definition instead of leaving it flat black. All in all I am very happy with how it turned out.
