New Music - January 2015
Laviyehshort x Muzzy Legault
Muzzy Legault laying it down with these chill vocals over a beat reminiscent of old school hip hop. In the past the Canadian vocalist has worked with subdaio on a track, but she's still rather unknown. Maybe 2015 is her year.

Review// C O R P $ E S - Plue Starfox
Finally the project that I've been anticipating for so long. Corp$es the latest and greatest from 'Plue Starfox' After putting out SO much music these previous months It's interesting to see how the project stacks up against his work from earlier this year. This is the ultimate culmination of 8 months of hard work. The projects opener 'P L A Y' is exactly what i've come to love from Plue. Slow and heavy. The sound is so digital, if that even makes any sense. From one song to the next the tracks flow seamlessly. On 'NIGHT1' Plue's monotone rap tone is numb at times. I found myself drifting in and out of paying attention to the lyrics. The instrumental aspect saves the song as it is nice to listen to. Equipped with all the glitches you could want. Thankfully things take a turn for the better on 'HOUSE//PHASE 4' The only track on the project not produced by Plue himself. This song is a lot more dynamic than the last. I think there's just an entirely different aggressive energy paired with the track. The transition to the second half of the song was rad, and I really like the instrumental. The farther i get into the project the more I like it. I really like that there's a story behind the entire project.
'Corp$es' is a movie.
'SHDWRLM' is hands down my favorite production on the project. It's mesmerizing to say the least and the feature from 'Mazie Mcleon' is enjoyable. 'ELIZABETH' might just be my favorite song on the entire project. The way the song was put together is perfection. IT's slow and melodic. One of the better hooks. Trust me you guys will love this one. The last time 'Plue Starfox' and 'Muzzy Legault' collaborated they made one of my favorite songs of last year. The sound is so diverse and out of the box, and I love it. 'DREAM 6' another favorite from the project. This song is basically split into two parts. I don't exactly know how, but it's a great combination of rap and rnb. Muzzy's dreamy vocals really complete the song. The way this project was put together is fantastic. The city hasn't seen anything like this before. What CORP$ES lacks in catchy hooks it makes up for with it's aesthetic, production, lyrics. Like i said before this project is seamless, and i think that has part to do with the story behind it.
FAVORITE TRACKS: HOUSE//PHASE 4, ELIZABETH, DREAM 6
