N was a college student back when the logout button was removed from VRO, and now that he had registered for trainer school, in a way he was again. There was something truly elating about that, and the Hoenn school he picked was not much different from a real school either, since aside from the battle hall, it had all of the same facilities. He’d even heard there would be a guest lecture by Steven, this region’s Champion. He’d considered attending this, but in truth his purpose for being here was not to take classes or attend lectures. Rather, his only interest was the library and it’s archive, since it’s texts were only accessable to students and teachers. He was curious about what these restricted texts had to say about the world of VRO, and even more eager to read about what they had to say about its legendary inhabitants for them to be restricted. Word of mouth only goes so far when no one knows what’s out there, so perhaps this library had some clue. Once he arrived at the library however, he was baffled by the scale of the place. Where usually he’d be happy to see so many books, this number of texts would make finding relevant information more difficult than he’d hoped. Might as well get started. He scanned through the titles, picking out anything that seemed relevant, and studied quietly for a while. But hunger was getting the better of him so he checked out the books, and stored them in his inventory. He was halfway out the door by the time he realized he’d forgotten the last title he was reading on the table, and quickly returned to retrieve it. Just as he feared though, someone else was already picking it up. “Sorry,” he said, “I forgot that, it’s already checked out.”
