A failed black-market hybrid created illegally on the Isle of Wight. Although the animal has escaped, it hasn’t caused any human casualties and appears to be skittish around people. However, it has been targeting livestock.
Dinosaur rights activists argue that “Sam and Ed”, despite being unnatural, are a living creature deserving of protection until authorities can decide their fate. Farmers, however, see this attitude as reckless, pointing out that their livelihoods are at stake while an uncontained predator roams free.
The Department of Prehistoric Wildlife is working on capturing Sam and Ed, where they will live the rest of their life in a sanctuary. That is only if things go according to plan, of course.
