Finally got a classic monster drawing done
As I’m sure some of you predicted it’s somewhat hard to reimagine the monsters whos designs are so intergraded in pop culture but I had a feeling ideas for griffin for starters I wanted to lean further into the “mad scientist” type aesthetic that he has I switched out the robe for a distressed lab coat, I also made his glasses more closely resemble goggles as well as giving him more gaps and spots where you could see through him as opposed to his original designs where he’s basically completely covered in the bandages I understand it’s so he could blend in in the movie but I figured that given his god complex it would make sense if he didn’t care about hiding (also it was fun to draw)
