Sam has always felt different from his family, and when his powers kick in when he's a teen he finally knows why. At the time mutant racism has been spreading through society, so when his family finds out they're shaken, appalled, refuse to accept him as he is. Especially John who sometimes looks like he's disgusted by him. When Sam finally has enough, he runs away from home and finds his way to Charles Xavier's school for Gifted Youngsters. There, he finally feels like he belongs, with other children like him - Special Children. He excels at his studies and turns out to be an exceptionally powerful mutant, with various abilities such as mind control, telekinesis, and visions. Over the years, his father remains distant and bitter but Dean tries to get close to him again. It starts with phone calls, then he comes to visit Sam at the school from time to time, then Sam spends his vacations in Dean’s apartment and they are brothers again. Then, in his early twenties, a darker superpower that was hiding inside Sam is revealed – his ability to kill\torture any other mutant with his mind. Sam and Dean are terrified and in the dark as to what it means, until shortly after - He resurfaces. An ancient, mythical mutant with god-like powers. Some call him Apocalypse, since according to the legends it is what he seeks to bring – an apocalypse to destroy all humans and until only to the better kind is left. Some say his name is Lucifer, and he is actually the origin to the myth of the devil. The mutant was able to live for thousands of years by transferring his conscious from body to body – from vessel to vessel. All those vessels were useless and eventually combusted, but an ancient prophecy told that one day his True Vessel will be born, a mutant genetically coded perfectly to fit his essence, and in the day he’ll transfer himself to him – he’ll never have to change a vessel again. He’ll be truly immortal. Lucifer wastes no time in tricking or playing games with Sam. He doesn’t need to – he’s the one. It’s written in his genes, in every cell. And he will say yes to him.
