mutable slander for the day: why are we sagittarius so dramatic??? is it because we're ruled by jupiter, the planet of expansion???
anyway, today im reminding everyone that astrology stereotypes are funny but wrong, mutables are the liars not scorpio...
we (sagittarius) are literally the sister sign to gemini, one of the signs ruled by the planet of communication; mercury.
honorable mention for the other mutables---
is it a mutable thing? ive always felt like the gemini stereotype for "two face" was just an ironic symptom to mutables being able to live in and outside of fantasy and reality...
pisces are also my favorite version of this hidden non-truther. as a sag stellium, i can recognize when reality is being altered by a mutable perspective. but my favorite is talking to a pisces, because they literally have the imagination of a world building creator. they can picture and hope and wish for things so far into a distinct future that you're just surprised at how much thought and energy can be put into that version of their reality. i have a few pisces sun friends who feels things and understands things with such vigor and passion that it freaks me out 80% of the time but im always 100% amazed at their intuition when these things come to fruition in some way.
my virgo besties may be earth signs but can easily switch up their perspective of reality.... i knew a virgo sun who was a staunch anti-queer republican in HS (who i knew was closeted) who is now very left, & very out and proud. i have a virgo rising friend who was staunchly anti-religion but is now deeply involved in new age spiritual practices....
my virgo sun friend WITH a sagittarius rising? dont get me started!! i love her so much but it took us a decades worth of friendship to start realizing that we were not being honest with each other! and in the superficial way, where we'd lie about "how happy we are in our relationships" and then when things blew up we'd catch up on the backlog of things we kept from each other. she's a bomb story teller FOR SURE! but my friends and i always know now to take her stories with a little grain of salt KNOWING that the next time she tells this story, there will be an entirely new perspective and meaning behind it.
i know a gemini rising who has no concept of time, they just truly live their best life on their own timeline. they will hop in and out of conversations like time and space does not exist, they will literally be the friend who can be 4 hours late to the function because they "lost track of time" doing their own thing---which do not get me wrong, theyre doing THINGS!!!! like every errand, every house chore, and also somehow talking to every person they want to talk to.
and once again: as a sag stellium, (3 personal planets and one generational) i know im being dramatic. i once called my roommate 20 times because i needed them to go to USPS for me "or else id die". my sag moon bestie sent a string of texts, anxious that they thought they had covid at 8 am... 6 hours later when i wake up to respond, im met with "nah im actually fine i was just being dramatic."
mutables are NOT bound to reality, and therefore the "objective, facts, and truth" is not our thing!!
