Finding Sakinah
For the first post of this blog, it will be about the title of my blog, Finding Sakinah.
Why Finding Sakinah? I chose this because Iām on the path of finding my sakinah. Accordingly, Sakinah is an Arabic word derived fromĀ sukunĀ meaning "peace", "serenity" or "tranquility". So the literal meaning of this is finding my inner peace. Really, iām having a hard time to find sakinah at times. Thatās why I really want to make it a habit. I guess, it is a must to live a happy a life.
Thatās it for my first post. I hope I made it clear.
May ALLAH swt grant us Sakinah for the rest of our lives.
