I can’t stop thinking about this:
So, time, space and dream states are intertwined. We dream into another plane that’s not tangible but not less real. At least, we feel like it is happening, therefore is real. We don’t even care about the space where things take place because it’s more about the sensations, the emotions. Going further, when we dream time barely feels, we don’t pay attention to it.
Now, I have this craving of Loki meeting Mobius in dreams, and having a life together there, where they get to talk, be together, embrace each other. But, for Mobius it’s a matter of his subconscious, nothing actually happening whereas for Loki it is totally happening because he’s the god of Stories, of Time… and what are dreams if nothing made of a suspended moment in time and space?
Stuff I do for fanfic purposes: rewatch Pride and Prejudice to get into Greg’s longing for Tom (possible/future tomgreg) and rewatch Midnight in Paris for the Lokius vibes.

I do think it’s pretty funny after Don kicking the ball into the goal and whispering “small victories”. Baby like are you even real? Manifesting shit by the secooooonddddd
“Let time pass”
Isn’t that what Mobius whole TVA life was about? Wasn’t that what he was actively (?) doing for all times, always, waiting for his chance to get to meet Loki, the God of Mischief?
The loop of time circling itself, leaving Mobius right where he began, speaking his motive out loud to be heard by the omniscient presence of his own god. As the silent prayer he held before, he finds himself again, in the middle of time itself: seeing his variant also without a Loki of his own.
Mobius believed so hard in the possibility of change, particularly in Loki’s evolution and self improvement. But I wonder if he ever considered the if and after of his existence once his prayers were answered and got to know Loki and see him change. He might have totally overseen his own dilema: not being able to continue in the TVA alone again and neither getting to raise two kids as a single dad.
He got the answers, he has the choices.
And still.
He will let time pass.
And, considering that Loki was and still is a god, what to do better than to talk out loud to his ever present deity? To state his stand without being asked, because now as The God of Stories, he just knows it all.
It is very romantic that he decides to do something that is exactly the only thing Loki can do now, and in that way, feel closer to him.
Because, what is time if not a construct of our own?
Not me, not at all, rewatching Loki season 01 to be properly informed for a new fic.
Not at all.
Not me obsessed with the scene at the library when Loki fell asleep and Mobius kept “reading”.
