Elizabeth Hamilton- Hamilton oc
Name: Elizabeth Hamilton
Age: 18
Birthday: March 11th 1783
Species: Human
Gender: Female- she/her
Sexuality: Bisexual
Appearance: Brown eyes, long black hair, usually always wearing some sort of formal outfit in public, simple jewellery, heels. She has a few small scars from fights she has gotten into when protecting her family's honour/name( no gunshot scars luckily) and she is in pretty good shape.
Personality: She is both book smart and street smart but she is just as stubborn as the rest of her family, especially when she knows she is right. Elizabeth is very proud of her family's legacy but isn't cocky at all and doesn't treat it like she is handed everything on a silver platter.
She recognises the hard work her father did and she works just as hard to make him and her family proud. However she does understand that eventually she will reach a line and she shouldn't cross. To others she is polite and well spoken but can be rude and sharp when needed.
Likes: Books, playing musical instruments, horse riding, fencing/sword training
Dislikes: Wearing wigs, corsets, her family name being attacked for her father's past actions, deadly rivalry
Backstory: She was born a year after Phillipe was, Elizabeth was beloved by her entire family and she was inseparable from her brother. As she got older, she took an interest in music but upon seeing her father's work she also took interest in the law.
The news of his affair broke her, especially since she saw how badly it affected her mom and she was there to comfort her as best as she could. Elizabeth didn't fully understand why her father did this but she still couldn't bring herself to hate him.
Phillipe's death hit her even harder, not only because of their bond but because she partially blames herself. She knew about the duel and she tried to convince him against it but he did it anyway. She ended up fighting the guy who killed him, beating him up for what he did yet no one apart from her parents knew about it since Elizabeth beat the guy up so badly that he was terrified to speak up. Plus he was drunk so he likely didn't remember her face too well.
Her grief process was hard but she powered through and decided to study law full time to prove injustice and hopefully prevent more people from losing loved ones and to get their justice if they did. Plus she wanted her family's name to have a good legacy and for the good parts to outshine the bad as well as making her family proud. Her father's death only made her more motivated to do that.
