HMMM tough question! i still struggle putting into words my specific thoughts for this season, that is why i've drawn them a bunch instead.

overall, the vibe is of course scar one-sided pining. that much was very clear from his pov. but it's not a one-sidedness where he's genuinely unsure of whether grian likes him or not. it's their seventh round at this rodeo. they're comfortable with each other and know where they both stand. but grian's focused on his own thing and scar wants more than he's being given. he enjoys their little tug of war, even if this time grian is giving him less to go off. they may still enjoy their little private moments but mostly it's tension building up. and even though, again, scar wants him so bad, there's even a higher level of distrust at play here, bc grian kinda has more of an influence in all this watcher-y stuff, and scar knows it. so yeag. i want to be with you but you're not taking it as seriously and i don't know if i can trust you. but i still want you so bad.
